RSA Competition Animation

As one part of one of my final projects in third year in Motion Graphics I have chosen to attempt the RSA Competition brief of the topic for cilmate change where I am to develop a short minute animation of a given voice clip. For this particular project I wanted to do something different from the tone of the voie clip and produce an animationt that is both quirky and satirical in reflecting the certain issues surrounding climate change. I wanted to communicate this through an anthropomorphic means of the Earth as a catalyst to showcase humanities lifestyle and attitudes towards living through our present day dealing with mass pollution, deforestation, mass consumption of fossil fuels ect. In all I feel like this project is more of an experimental piece as I feel as the outcome I have been able to lead up isn't almost there yet; however I believe it holds alot of potential as the concept & idea is solid and just needs a bit of fixing to it to make is something successful. What I can take from doing this project is the interesting direction I've taken this brief and how I can further pursue this in my future projects.
Breaking up the one minute voice clip into three parts in order to differentiate an assemblance of timing and pace for me to start thinking about how I much I am able to put into my storybaord.
Developing a storyboard as well as a concept I could gravitate towards in how I want my one minute animation to look aesthetically and pretty much how it may animate on screen.
Exploring the issues of deforestation, fossil fuels and pollution that can be in the animation to bring context with the idea of the Earth being attacked by the foreign bodies of humanities actions.
